Description

Castor seeds — also known as Arandi (Hindi), Aamudamu (Telugu), and Erandela (Marathi) — come from the Ricinus Communis plant and are valued for their wide-ranging therapeutic benefits. They are a rich source of ricinoleic acid, a fatty acid known for its strong anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and laxative properties.

Traditionally used in Ayurveda and folk medicine, castor seeds are commonly processed into castor oil, which is used to relieve joint pain, arthritis, and muscle stiffness.
